A Double Dawg with a BBA from Terry and a master’s degree in higher education from the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education, Nikki Hon brings extensive experience in academic operations and institutional systems. During her 18 years at UGA, she has served in a variety of roles, most recently as Senior Associate Registrar. She played a key role in launching electronic transcripts and digital diplomas for students. She was instrumental in implementing DegreeWorks, Banner, and Course Evaluations as well as Connect & Complete and Course Program of Study, all of which are university systems and initiatives that have significantly enhanced the student experience.
Known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to student success, Hon has also been an active contributor to professional organizations at both the state and national level.
Hon will oversee the Office of the Registrar and continue to provide significant contributions to university initiatives including the Comprehensive Learner Record, while supporting the university’s academic mission through services related to registration, scheduling, transcripts, graduation clearance, and academic records.
