The Office of Instruction offers faculty and staff awards:
- Creative Teaching Awards recognize faculty members who have implemented a significant, creative teaching innovation and/or strategy in a course to improve student learning.
- Excellence in Academic Program Assessment (new) recognizes excellent practice in assessment for continuous support of student learning and success.
- The First-Year Odyssey Teaching Award recognizes outstanding instructors who have demonstrated creativity or innovation in instruction, connection to the instructor’s research and incorporation of FYOS program goals into the seminar.
- Innovation in AI Teaching Award recognizes UGA faculty members whose exceptional contributions to the integration of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning have had a profound impact on a course, a program, the university, or the larger academic community.
- Instruction Employee Awards recognize the exceptional efforts of our employees on behalf of UGA.
- Outstanding Academic Advisor Awards honor the best in university advising.
- Service-Learning Excellence Awards recognize faculty for outstanding service-learning instruction and for advancing service-learning scholarship.
