The temporary and/or new locations for previous Holmes-Hunter based offices are as follows. Please visit the websites for each office for additional information including physical address, office hours, etc.:

The sidewalk between Holmes-Hunter and Demosthenian Hall will be closed for the duration of the project. All access between the North Campus Quad and Herty Drive will remain open south of the Chapel. Security cameras adjacent to the Holmes-Hunter Academic Building will remain operational for the duration of the project.

The planned renovation will restore the courtyard as a space that pays tribute to Hamilton Holmes and Charlayne Hunter-Gault, the first African American students to enroll at UGA; install an elevator and new stairs; integrate new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; optimize use of the building’s square footage; showcase the cast iron in the structure; and create a classroom from the original building design.
