Located in historic Milledge Hall, the Office for Student Success and Achievement (OSSA), a unit of the Office of Instruction at the University of Georgia, empowers students to achieve success throughout their academic journey.
Each year, OSSA supports thousands of students through initiatives that promote academic well-being, student learning, community building, and leadership development. Services include free tutoring, free academic coaching, and dedicated support for first-generation students, rural students, and scholars.
Additional services such as peer learning assistants, Thrive at Georgia: Bulldog Bridge, and the Presentation Collaboratory further enhance the student experience.
OSSA offers a wide range of University Success (UNIV) courses designed to help UGA students become active, independent, and lifelong learners. These courses count as elective degree credit and are open to students across all majors.
OSSA is also home to seven federally funded TRIO programs— outreach efforts designed to identify and support students as they pursue higher education and work toward college degree completion.
