The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) seeks to provide support and leadership to foster an institutional climate that reinforces excellence in teaching and learning across the University of Georgia.

CTL partners with faculty, graduate students, staff, and administrators to promote evidence-based teaching and learning practices, sustain a university culture that values and rewards teaching, encourage critical reflection on teaching practices, and create learning environments in which all students and instructors can excel. The CTL offers a wide array of activities, including faculty and graduate student educational development programs and special events, 1:1 consultations, grants and teaching recognition, and support for the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL). The center also provides classroom AV and IT support for centrally-scheduled Provost Office classrooms, instructional media equipment loans, and maintains video and podcast recording studios for the creation of instructional materials.
