Event Space Reservation Policy
The primary purpose of the SLC is to provide classroom, instruction, and study space; however, several areas in the Science Learning Center are conducive to hosting events and meetings.
Only UGA departments and registered student organizations are eligible to reserve event spaces in the SLC. These departments and organizations are fully responsible for coordination of the event, compliance with building policies and procedures, and damage to facilities and equipment during their event. Should the event require catering and/or chairs & tables, a representative from your department must be on site to receive and coordinate delivery of these items. The SLC does not provide additional furniture beyond what is available in the spaces.
The SLC is not available for events during weekends or other dates that the University is closed.
