The Classic Journal: Open for Submissions!

Undergraduates: Submit your work for publication!

The Classic is pleased to announce its fall open reading period and call for papers for the Spring 2018 Issue.

Reading Period: October 15—January 15

Work from or inspired by UGA courses—including WIP courses, upper-division writing-intensive courses, and courses across the discipline with a major writing project—will be considered for publication by a multi-disciplinary editorial team.

Students will receive feedback on each submission. Upon notification of acceptance, students will work with the editors to prepare the manuscript for publication. Submission guidelines, the general submission form, and the science submission form are available on The Classic‘s website.

And new this year: faculty and graduate teaching assistants are encouraged to nominate student work to be considered for publication. You can find the nomination form on the journal’s website, as well.
